Things I Am Looking Forward To

My life has been pretty fucking sweet for a while now, I am lucky. There's a lot of crazy stuff coming up in the next few months, but also a lot of fun things that I CAN NOT WAIT FOR!!!!!

1. The 4th of July - As soon as I get off work, I am heading home to pack quick and I am GI bound for the weekend. Alcohol, fireworks, and four days with my boys and Beth? Can't get much better than that.

2. Grandpa's Birthday - I haven't been home since Christmas. I've seen the family in this time, but just haven't been home to do so. Only Mom knows I'm going home, I can't wait, it'll be a good surprise for Opa's birthday.

3. SEATTLE!!!! - Duh. I get to be gay in Seattle for a few days with Teetzy Weetzy. Okay, so not gay together but, nevermind, you wouldn't understand unless you know us so there's no point explaining.

4. Grandma's/Tammy's/Holden's/Kraig's Birthdays - So they all have birthdays within four days of one another and I will again be going home a weekend to surprise them and just to hang out a few days. I don't get to see my family nearly enough and I can not wait for it to happen more often once things settle down a little and I get into the swing of things being back full time in school in the fall.

5. New Kids on the Block Concert #1 - That's right, just the first one. My momma got me tickets for two, count 'em, TWO shows. This is the St. Paul show at ExCel in October where I fully intend to rock my vintage NKotB shirt that I wore when I was in first grade (still fits, I actually have it with me here in Lincoln) and my huge buttons that I will pin to my jeans as we did in the old days bearing pictures of Joey and the rest of the guys.

6. My Baby Bro Gets Married! - For those of you not privy to the information, my little brother JohnRoss is almost all grown up. He and Lauara are getting married in November and I can not wait. I adore Laura and they are just so darn perfect for each other, I can't wait. Plus I was asked to be Laura's personal attendant so I get to do the fun stuff! Yay!

7. New Kids on the Block Concert #2 - Mom may or may not be coming to Lincoln for this one, but she did get me tickets. I would like her to, I don't want to go with anyone else. Unfortunately gas prices may keep this from happening but keep your fingers crossed that she and I will be able to go to this one together too. Is it sad that I still know all the words to every single NKotB song ever? It is? Well fuck you too :) I LOVE JOEY MCINTYRE! This is also the weekend that my momma will be getting her tattoo if she finally decides on something, which I told her would be her birthday present because when she saw mine she really liked it and wanted to do something also, just something small that would be personal to her that wouldn't be obvious to everyone else. I hope they let me hold her hand, or else she might be crying a little, neither of us stand pain very well.

So there you have it, seven way awesome things going down in the next few months and there will be plenty of pictures to document the fun all along the way.
